Lockdown has been pretty hard for us singers! It’s knocked confidence and for many and morale has been low. It was such a shock to have a seasons worth of work cancelled overnight and an income reduced to zero, so quickly.
Now there is a small light at the end of the tunnel, even though the light seems to move away a bit, (Can we gig outside or not?!) finding ways to come back from this and get back up to our performing, confident selves, is key.

We’re creative people – we’ll always find a way!

Usually our voices are coping with our gig conditions and getting exercised pretty frequently, but getting back to that level may need some extra inspiration! Ta da! That’s where I come in! If you’re now wanting to record, go live etc and want some top tips …read on!

I’m running a small online group – max 8 singers – all semi or fully pro singers.
I will cover some great warm-ups – both for your bodies and for your voices to get yourselves vocally flexible again and improve your range.
I’ll show you exercises that can troubleshoot any tightness in the throat and improve the tone. You might be feeling quite rusty!
If you’re short of breath when you sing – we can look at that, too.
Is there anything specific you’d like help with? Let me know!

Seeing the exercises demonstrated, rather than reading about them, makes a massive difference to understanding HOW they work, how your voice works and how you can picture them working for you and your voice. Feeling how your body and voice responds, in tone, flexibility and increased range, will let you know whether these exercises are worth continuing with. I hope you will all hear the difference and enjoy the results!

REMEMBER: The beauty of Zoom is that no-one else need hear you! If you want me to check anything, you can unmute!

You will need to have downloaded Zoom and have a good bright room or good lighting so I can see you easily – most of you will have mics so set those up too.

For this limited special lockdown group I will charge £15 per singer, to get you up and ready. This is strictly for professional and semi pro singers.
