This week Sandra is coaching a wonderful all female choir in Exeter, River City Chorus. She is working with some essential foundation skills in breathing and vocal production as well as helping singers develop more of their upper voice strength. This will create some extra power (without effort) and aid the singers to balance and blend the sound through their sections.
FEEDBACK: “Thanks so much for a wonderful session with us yesterday. We’ve had coaching in the past and I’ve never seen anything which has made such an impression” Helen Joy Chair
Saturday March 1st.
Sandra is up in Somerset for the whole day coaching an all female Barbershop chorus. By working with them on creating more control, vocal stamina and power, she will be helping them get ready for a busy summer season of concerts, competitions and outdoor performances. Using the judges comments from their last competition as a base, and from watching their last performance videos, Sandra will work alongside their MD to create exercises they can use in their warm-ups to keep the work she does with them going - helping to create lasting change.
FEEDBACK: “Well what a day we have had with the WONDERFUL Sandra Smith. Honestly she was like a magician and the difference in our sound following her guidance, was amazing!” Kirstie MD

FEEDBACK: “You met our hopes for the start of our day beautifully. It was exactly the beginning we needed. The feedback was that it was glorious. It certainly shifted the energy into the right place and brought us together. I know that people appreciated the warmup and practical experience of stretches that can be done at a desk! Thank you.” Lisa Lea-Weston, Director.

Sunday May 18th
Straight after the workshop in Dartmouth, Sandra is whizzing up to Exeter to coach this wonderful small ensemble who sing contemporary arrangements from the Pop world. They concert regularly and want to strengthen their sound. A 3.5 hour session that whizzed past!
FEEDABCK: “Sandra spent a number of weeks listening to recordings of us singing and shared her broad plan with me before the day of the workshop. She was able to identify some issues that we weren't aware of, then tailored our session to pull our sound together and lift our performance to a level we didn't know we could achieve. The singers went away saying that as well as a group session, it felt like a private singing lesson.” Colin Rae MD
